Dearest Heath Family:
I did not know Justin personally but I heard really nice things about him. I know it is God's will that we, as christians, be there for others in their hour of need. I have a son who is about the same age as Justin, he went to First Assembly around the same time Justin was going there. I can not begin to imagine the pain and sorrow Justin's family is feeling at this time. I just want the family to know there are people who care, people whom they do not even know, and we are praying for them. It is hard to accept or understand when we lose a loved one at any age, but we all know it is ten times as hard to cope with when they are so young. Please accept this poem of sympathy, from my heart to yours.
God bless the Heath family.
Journey of an Angel
No words can express the sorrow felt
When we lose someone we love.
We often pause to question,
"Why, dear Lord, Above?"
But then the Lord shines a light,
And reminds us of "The Roll,"
"I shared with you, his flesh and blood,
But I am the keeper of his soul."
His soul set forth on heaven's journey,
Led by the guiding light.
No more storms, nor woes and worries,
As the angels carried him in flight.
God knows your heart in sorrow,
He knows your every tear.
The grief and the pain,
The heartache and the fear.
His angels will caress your heart,
And minister to you, God's belief.
Through faith in him there is comfort.
Rather you are joyful, or in a time of grief.
Comfort just to know you are on the wings,
The wings of heaven's prayer.
And the body once known in life is an angel,
Returned to God's eternal care.

Rusty and Donna,
When the warmth of the sun touches your face,
See his smile and feel his embrace.
When you hear the whisper of love in the wind
Know that you are close to him again
The rain speaks of tears and the thunder of pain,
But soon the sun comes, the earth to reclaim.
As the days come and go and the world moves on,
Know he's still here, he'll never be gone.
On the night the Angel came and took his hand,
We cried as he left for an unknown land.
But Heaven rejoiced as he came into sight,
For his soul was a diamond, shining so bright!
Please don't clutch the past so tightly to your chest that it leaves your arms too full to embrace the present.

I just learned of Justin death. Words cannot express a loss of someone. I know, as I still suffer from the loss of my brother Steve, over 1 year ago, and also the loss of 4 friends in one year.
I am thinking of his family and my
thoughts and prayer go out to them.

Justin, you influenced me more than you will ever know as part of the Chrome Donuts. I know that is only part of who you are, but it is the part that touched my life, and continues to touch me even now. You will never be forgotten, and I am glad to have called you "friend".

Justin "Deuce" Heath,
I met your family tonight and what lovely people they are. I will never forget calling out "Deuce" real loud in the gym and seeing that smile on your face.
I will never forget you. Please watch over us all. I'll see you one day, and we can talk for more than a few minutes. You will truly be missed here.
your friend,

There are no words that can ever take the pain away when losing a loved one. I too recently lost my brother very close to me on 9/6/05 and can truly understand what your family and friends are experiencing. Justin was an absolute delight to know and his contagious smile and wonderful spirit will be a great loss to us all. For his parents: please know that you did a beautiful job raising a young man that was loved by so many. There was never a time
I saw him that he didn't have a smile on his face & a hug waiting for me, wishing Tim & I well. To Pat Heath: I can not tell you how sorry I am because I know how very close you two were. Please know that if there's ever a guardian angel you want watching over you, Justin is that angel. May God bless the Heath family & his friends.
