Not sure what to say?

To the family, friends, colleagues, and patients of Dr. Karen Breen, I am deeply saddened by your loss. Dr. Breen was my psychiatrist for about 14 years, and I am forever grateful for the assistance which she provided in treating my severe and chronic mental illness. I will keep her and all of you in my prayers. May God give you strength and peace of mind and body.

Sympathies but also a measure of congratulations on yes, your loss of Dr. Karen, but of a person that was so dedicated to her own work of healing--especially--as I understand, with the poor and marginalized! Her good life and our faith tells us she now moves toward the ultimate healing--the loving, eternal embrace of the Almighty! Godspeed Karen--literally!

She was always funny, patient and kind to her younger cousins. I will miss her smile and her caring nature. May she rest in peace, my love and prayers to her husband and family.

Karen and I were residents together in the early 80s, and she was always dedicated to caring for patients with serious mental illness. Over the past 35 years she has trained and supervised countless young physicians and was a role model for compassionate care of all patients.

Even though Karen's life ended too soon, she helped so many people thru her work, and touched so many lives. RIP.
