There will be an empty place at all the events at Hado Bar. Karen was a mainstay. I will miss her calm encouraging presence. Deepest sympathy to her family.

Karen was one of those rare people who offered kindness, encouragement and friendship without expectations. Heartfelt condolences to her family.

I will always cherish the time that Karen and I spent together at training and trialing our herding dogs. She always was willing to help anyone and enjoyed doing so. But, most importantly, she was a very special person who made it fun to be around her. My deepest sympathies to her family; you will be in my prayers. Karen, you will be greatly missed by all who know and love you.

I am so glad that I got to meet Karen. I really enjoyed my time visiting with her. She will be greatly missed in the Aussie community. Rest in peace Karen.

Karen Dearden was an incredible woman, and it was with great sadness that I learned of her passing. She knew me at a time of great change in my life, and her quiet support, encouragement, and generosity were more of an inspiration to me than she'll ever know.
