My deepest sympathy on the passing of Karen. As a colleague at VJHS, I remember Karen as a genuine friend to everyone. She always listened as if you were the most important person she would speak to that day. A great teacher who was devoted to her students and her profession. Karen made everyone around her a better person.

Sending your family lots of love! It´s never easy saying goodbye to those we love and who loved us so deeply. She rocked it in life - what a role model for all of us! katie

I knew Karen when we both worked in the College of Education at Akron. We shared many fun and interesting times as we negotiated the HLC accreditation. I counted her as a friend and colleague.

I worked for her husband for 7 years. Over those years. I had a chance to meet Karen. Both her and Bill were the nicest people you could meet. She will be missed my friends and family . Glad I had a chance to meet her. God blessed her soul and prayers for her husband .
