Not sure what to say?

I was so saddened to hear of Karen's passing. Karen was the sweetest dearest friend to me and our group of girls that hung out together during those most important formative years - 4th-9th grade at Elbert Long. It's surprising to think so many adventures could be had just hanging out around our homes, school, and sleepovers. We lost track of each other when my family moved - but she has often been in my thoughts. I'm so happy to know that she was blessed with a wonderful family and career....

When I heard of Mrs. Mowery's passing, I couldn't believe it. My son had her this past school year at EBE. He thrived in her class and benefitted from having her as his teacher. She always had positive things to say about him and I appreciated her feedback in conferences. Whenever I had a question she would reply to my emails or phone calls promptly. Her love for her job and dedication to her students was evident. I will always be grateful to her for the support, encouragement, and structure...

I was heartbroken to hear of Mrs. Mowery's passing. She was my daughter Riley's favorite teacher from EBE when she graduated from there two years ago. Mrs. Mowery made a point to come to me after the graduation to tell me how much she loves Riley and will miss her and she hoped Riley had her daughter for a teacher at Ooltewah. I was really looking forward to my other daughter having her this coming year. She was an absolute sweetheart and you could tell she loved her job and her students. My...

Dear Buddie, David, Donna, Trudy and Karen's immediate "big" family: I was so fortunate to have been a close neighbor and friend to Karen for so many years growing up on Vance Rd. Karen was so sweet, smart and beautiful. I have so many good memories of playing outside, bike riding on the "dirt road" beside her house. She was very athletic and loved soft ball. I don't remember a time when Karen wasn't smiling. I knew Karen would be a great Mom and wife. I was so...

So glad I was able to pay my respects to such a wonderful lady. God sure knew what he was doing the day he created Karen. She will be missed but she will never be forgotten. Prayers of peace for Mark, the girls and all the people that loved her. She now flies with the Angels. Peace like a river flows to the family.

Mark and Karen were such a blessing to our family and especially to my daughter's, Rachel, elementary experience at Grace Baptist Academy. Karen touched our hearts with the spirit and example of Christ every day through her love of teaching. Heaven just got a little brighter.

Mrs. Mowery was my daughter Sierra's last teacher at EBE. She was a kind and sweet lady and we are sad for your loss. Our prayers and condolences go out to family and friends. God Bless!

We are so glad the Lord let us know sweet Karen. What a caring, concerned influence she was in the lives of so many young people. Her life will live on through what they learned from her. We are praying for Mark and the family.
