Not sure what to say?

Karen and I grew up together in Windham and reconnected at Harbor Woman's Health when our children were born. I have great memories of Karen from the middle school basketball team and all of our sleepovers.

I lost my stepmother, Patrice, in July to ovarian cancer. She too was at DFCI in Boston - I know what exceptional care and love they gave Patrice and Karen too, I'm sure. My deepest condolences to you all. May her laughter and love remain in your hearts forever.

To Karen's loving family,

On behalf of the many Dana-Farber caregivers who had the honor of meeting and caring for Karen, I extend our heartfelt sympathy and condolences. She and all of you remain very much in our thoughts.

Mr & Mrs Bonde and the Staskos family,
I was so saddened to hear about Karen's passing. I have such wonderful memories of growing up together. From riding bikes together as young girls, having sleep-overs in the sailboat in the backyard, to driving to school together as teenagers. I have often thought about her over the years. I send my deepest sympathies to all of you. My thoughts will be with you.

Dear Stasko & Bonde Families,

I just read about Karen's passing in the paper I am deeply saddened. I send my deepest sympathies. I remember her being a great friend and she was thought of often over the years.

Dear Michael, Ella, Hazel and family,
Our hearts go out to you and we hope you won't hesitate to call on us if there is anything we can do to lighten your burden.
Fondly,
Trina, Erich, Iris and Oscar

I am a former student of Mrs Stasko/Bondes. When my mom informed me that my teacher was going to be taken by cancer I began to think of how great a person she was to me. She tutored me endlessly until I understood the material, and drove me home at night afterwards. From her reading BFG in class to the projects we did, she was always a fantastic person to spend the day with and I will certainly remember her for all of the fantastic things she did for me and many many others. May peace be with...

Michael, Betsy and Family,

During the brief time our paths crossed it was an honor to know you, to be witness to the love and support your family demonstrated.
My prayer is that you will find comfort in fond memories of Karen.

God Bless,
