Loving mother of Melissa Freitag, Tiffany Freitag and Robby Van Dyke; Beloved daughter of Margaret and the late Donald Van Pelt; fiancé of Chris Tacia; sister of Rene (Martin) Struthers, Ronald (Laurie) Van Pelt, Donna (Mark) Taylor and William (Donna) Van Pelt. Karen was an Avon representative for 22 years and was the former owner of Tiny Treasures. Rosary service Thursday 4:30 PM at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston where friends may visit Thursday 3-9 PM. Funeral Mass Friday 11 AM Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, Waterford. Rite of Committal Ottawa Park Cemetery. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Karen. I knew her in middle and high school, and I have many wonderful memories of her. My deepest condolence to her family

I was sorry to hear of the Loss of Karen, I knew her thru Avon, she was a very nice and helpful person my thoughts are with her and her family. My deepest sympathy to all of you.

Deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Karen, She was a lovley young lady with a heart of gold and a smile to light up a room, she will be missed.

So sorry for your loss. The little time I've known Karen was enough to know she was a caring, loving person and she will fit right in with the angels in heaven.

I love you Mom, I will always remember you. This past year has been the toughest. I know you are in a better place now, in peace.

She was such a wonderful person and I am so happy my brother Chris was blessed with her love. We will miss her and her radiant smile. God Bless
