Not sure what to say?

Sadly, I just learned of Ms. Dameris's passing yesterday. Just a word to say how special she was to me and two of my oldest friends. "Ms. Sermas", was our third grade teacher at Brook Ave. School in Waco in 1958-59. She was only 22 or 23 and had just begun teaching. Those long years ago she taught us some "real Greek" vocabulary and impressed us with her kindness and generous spirit. She taught us math and basic logic and how to play nicely together. Katherine was such a special lady. I met her several years ago. We had just moved to Houston and I didn't know many people. I felt led by God to attend the Bible study at AGOC. I didn't really understand why. After it was over I felt led to go into the church and light a candle. There was a woman sitting alone in the corner of the church in tears. Ted and Brian,
My condolences on your mom's passing. She was a lovely and beautiful lady to the end. After not having seen her for a number of years, I had the pleasure of visiting her at home shortly after your father passed. We had a very nice visit and it was special to spend some time with her after so much time had gone by. She was a gracious lady. My mother also remembers your mother as a lovely lady and sends her best wishes and condolences to you also.

Katherine is going to be missed by many May her memory be eternal and may God bless her family with many years to remember her and honor her memory.
