Kathy was the first friend I made in a strange new town, my first time away from home. She became more than a friend though. Kathy was my confidant, my laughing partner and a second Mom. Smart, strong and kind Kathy was someone I tried to model myself after. In recent years distance had separated us, but she was always in my heart. That is where shell remain forever.
