Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home - Jacksonville Chapel Obituary

Not sure what to say?

David, your words printed in this weekend's Jacksonville Journal-Courier are poignant and profound. Thank you for sharing your and Kathy's journey. Grace and peace to you, Rhiannon, and Belinda.

With everything that is going on in this world somehow I missed her passing. I worked with Kathy at Presbyterian Church Day Care Center. It was horrible what happened to her and saddened to hear of her passing. She loved the children so much! Prayers and condolences to the family.

So sorry to David and the family for your loss. Always giving of Herself to others and touching the hearts of many. So glad to have met such a wonderful lady!

So sorry for your loss.

My condolences to David.

Dave, My heart fills with respect for your loss. Kathy was always such a bright spot in any event whether being with the old ACA committee or just visiting or I am certain in your home. You two were meant for each other and my prayers are with you for understanding and hope for the future. I still remember our 4th meetings and you and Kathy leaving with her holding tight on the back of your motorcycle. Oh the good days.

Now will require real strength my friend, and your past...

Our hearts break for you, Dave....Bill and Julie

My condolences on the loss of Kathy.

David - deep sympathies to you at Kathy's passing. Reading the obit I was mentally swept back to 1985 and the joy you two brought each other when you started dating that summer. Rick Cernich will probably claim his great fireworks show sealed the deal for you on your first July 4 date.

I know you've continued to be a blessing to each other, even during the years when physical struggling took over. Hope the memories will comfort you in the coming days. Peace to you. JC
