Not sure what to say?

Please accept my deepest condolences from an old friend of Mike Hartenstine and his family. Chris Niederpruem

My deepest sympathies to Melissa and Julie. Stacy my oldest daughter loved her as a teacher. Kathy truly loved the kids and did everything in her power to help them be successful in the classroom. We still have fond memories of her at Brassfield in the 90s and as a neighbor in the Coachman's Trail community. We in Wake County have lost a great voice for our kids. It is so hard to believe that she is not here advocating for the kids and their education.

My deepest sympathies to Kathy's daughters, their families and her brothers and their families. She was my friend for almost 60 years. I know she was so looking forward to our 50 year class reunion this October. It just won't be the same without her.

To the family of Kathy Hartenstine, I extend my deepest & most heartfelt condolences to you. Praying for your peace and strength.

My deepest sympathy to Melissa and Julie. I couldn't have picked better cousins.
My love to all.

I am so saddened to hear of Kathy Hartenstine's passing. She was an enormous help to me in my quest to keep my children from having to move schools last year, and she was clearly someone who cared and advocated for children. She even called me on a weekend from her cell phone and never rushed me off the phone. I was so impressed that when I would call her she knew immediately who I was! I will never forget her kindness. Rest in Peace. Prayers to her family & friends as you navigate...

Kathy was a friend throughout most of my adult life - always fun, exuberant, and forward moving. My heart and thoughts are with all of you at this very sad time. I hope that the warm and wonderful memories of her will sustain you.
