Keith LeRoy Hansen

Was late learning of Keith's (Maj. Hansen to me) passing while doing some research for a story about our experience during the Six-Day War (June 1967). As a young 1st lieutenant on his first operational assignment, I learned a lot form Kieth Hansen. He was a patient teacher, worked well with people -- particularly his C-130 crew, and was an awesome pilot! I learned a lot from him. Our thoughts are all with the Hansen family. Keith was a very special man. We miss both Gwen and Keith.

I am very sorry for your loss. I taught with Keith at Denbigh High School, and I remember him with great fondness. I was fortunate to teach Mark, as well. I hope the family feels some comfort in knowing how much Keith was respected and how much good he did in this world. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
