Not sure what to say?

My kind, dear friend from girl scout days and school; how I wish we would never have lost touch after you went away to school. My heart feels as if it is breaking...I had very recently, been thinking of something generous and typically caring that you had done when we were just kids, putting others' interests and -in this instance- even their safety, ahead of your own. I think we were about 13, and your actions really made me question my own, or the lack of them, but in only the best way....

Kelly and I formerly met at Widener University. She was fun and full of questions and ideas. I enjoyed talking to her on break during our class. It was clear how much she loved her students and they will surely succeed in this world because of her devotion and inspiration. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. My deepest sympathy to her family.

Kelly and I met at LCCC. We were studying to get our ESL Certificate. I remember her as such a wonderfully talented, generous and joyful person. I'm so very sad that she will no longer grace this world with her presence.
Her life has made a significant impact on so many people. We will miss you Kelly...

she was a great teacher she inspired many like me in writing and reading she always wanted everyone to have fun and she tried her best to make that happen she will sincerely be missed

I am deeply saddened to learn of Kelly's passing. My sincerest condolences go out to Rosaria, Andrew and Vincent. Your mom was truly a gift to all who knew her. I will always cherish the years we taught together and pray that you will find comfort knowing she was so loved by so many.

Ms Stoops you were my favorite teachers of all time. You made learning fun with your vibrant caring personality. You will truly be missed!

I taught with Kelly at Roosevelt Elem. School back when we could have FUN in the classroom. She was always doing some crazy thing to get her ESOL students inspired. She always went the "extra mile" to ensure the understanding and involvement of her "kids". She always had a kind word for all and her perpetual smile brightened the halls of Roosevelt.

I was really sad to hear of Kelly's passing. She was a unique women. She was also a dedicated teacher. She would go above and beyond for her students. Everyday she would have a smile on her face. She will truly be missed.

So saddened by the news that my favorite teacher has passed away. You believed in me and made me believe in myself and for that I'm forever grateful! Your funny antics and words of wisdom will stay with me. Rest in peace Ms. Stoops.
