Not sure what to say?

I live down the street and met Kennan while leading my spooky ex-race horse down the road. He came out and we talked for a few minutes about horses, and he told me, "Well, your horse sure is beautiful"--I will never forget the compliement! He seemed like such a nice guy and a neat neighbor to have. I wish I had gotten another chance to talk to him about his many animals. I was truly shocked to learn that he had passed, and although I only met him briefly, I can tell that he was a...

Kennan was an upbeat, do anything for you kind of guy, that you could always count on for a laugh or a favor. We will remember him best at the marina or on his jet ski with a huge smile on his face. We think he was the founding father of "The Gordon River Rats" - our Tin City Marina "Family", and we will miss him.

My sweet husband. You spirit is so big...like your heart. I am so blessed to have known your love for the 12 short years we had together. You taught me what it feels like to be cherrished by someone you love. I will miss you every day for the rest of my life...until we meet again.

Although I never knew the Kennan of yesteryear, I was privileged to get to know him during his life with Pat, my sister. His love for her was so obvious and special. I thank God for leading him into our lives.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.

We are so sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you.

Kennan seemed to me "larger than life". What a great person to have known and to remember. My condolences to all who loved him, and especially to the friends in my past, Roy and Kathy and Amber.

Kennan,
You were always very kind to me and my family.
I extend my sympathies to your countless family and friends. I know you will be missed by all.
Sending lots of love, good thoughts and prayers to those left behind.

I was one of those kids who grew up along the beach, and I have many, many memories of Kennan Finke, and the gang...even though I haven't lived there for 35 years, and never met Kennan's wife, I know his family. And I send you my deepest sympathy for your loss, and at such a young age...because Kennan and I were in school together. I especially remember once when we had an old raft, covered in fiberglass that was still quite raw, and a bunch of kids paddled that thing across the wide part...

When I think of you Kennan I think of that smile on your face and that laugh of yours. My heart and thoughts are with the Finke Family. Kennan, we will miss you!
