ZINTEL, Kenneth - Of Flint, age 87, died Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Funeral service will be held 11AM Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Pastor David A. Galbraith and Pastor Dave Hintz officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to Peace Presbyterian Church or Central Church of the Nazarene. Visitation 5PM-8PM Sunday and 1PM-4PM and 6PM-8PM Monday at the funeral home. Kenneth was born in Flint on July 22, 1920 and had been a resident of Flint all of his life. He married Anna Asmus on February 23, 1946 in Flint. Kenneth was a member of Peace Presbyterian Church and Central Church of the Nazarene. Kenneth was in the United States Army during World War II, serving in Africa and Italy. He worked at Chevrolet Manufacturing in Flint for over 30 years, retiring as Captain of security in 1982. Surviving are wife, Anna; son, Kenneth W. of Flint; 4 grandchildren, Zachary and Holly Zintel, Lindsay and husband Zachary Krafcik and Jennifer Boa; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by daughter, Barbara Ann Boa, 2 brothers, Roy and Donald; sister, Francis. Your condolences may be shared with the family at swartzfuneralhomeinc.com
