What a gentle soul in a tough, tough world. I was blessed to have known Kevin the short time I did in New York City. RIP.

Deepest sympathy to Marni, Sarah Quinn,Lily Jack, Carrie, Ketherine, Anna, John and Brian and all of our Dempsey cousins on the premature passing of Kevin fron this life. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

Kevin and I became friends in high school. We drifted apart, but there was a reason we became friends in the first place. He made be a better person and introduced me to many things that I now love, such as music and Irish nationalism. Most importantly, he introduced me to my wife Joy. That day in Central Park is one I will never forget, just as I will never forget Kevin. I hope you are at peace, Kevin. Joy and I send our deepest sympathy to Kevin's family.

My sincere condolences to Marni, his daughters, parents, brothers and sisters. I have had the pleasure of knowing Kevin since We were 11 years old at Bowling Green Elementary. We stayed friends all the way through Jr High, HS, college, and even after when we were grown ups. I worked for Kevin in community affairs under Gov Pataki. I am so shocked and so very sorry for his loss. My condolences to his family. May his memory be eternal.
