Kevin was on the plane bound for Vietnam in the early 70's that crashed in Alaska. I will never forget the AP photo of him carrying a passenger to safety after the crash. My cousin was not as fortunate to survive the crash, but every time that I ran into Kevin in Brigantine or Drexel Hill, we would remember that tragic day in November. I did not know Kevin at the time of the crash, but it came to my attention that he was a good friend of my husbands cousin. Such a nice guy.
