The friend I never met.

In his internet 'nom de plume' of K. N. Pepper, Khurram and I exchanged many a quip, pun, and occasionally even serious views, on matters graphical and life in general. He was a refreshing voice untouched by convention and ever ready to question it. Such people are rare and valuable.

For all the over twenty years we communicated I had never seen a photograph of him until today. I knew only only the mind and spirit - untouched by preconceptions....
