I considered Kirk a best friend in the early and mid 80s during my time at Carroll College. I spent time, not only with Kirk, but also his beautiful sisters, Bonnie and Dawn. I will never forget Kirk's calm demeanor and quiet determination. His patients loved him. His peers, colleagues, and physicians loved him. This leadership team loved him. His passing has caused a tsunami of grief and utter devastation. He lives on in ASU and all around us. I feel his energy and know he has touched the face of God.
