Not sure what to say?

Although we lost touch through the years I was shocked and saddened to recently learn of her passing. I have missed her and will always miss her. We were very close for more years than I can remember and it breaks my heart that she is gone.

What a wonderful person Kristin was. I will miss her, but carry with me her fun-spirited, caring personality. Sandy Carlson

As an Occupational Therapist, I worked with Kristin at Evergreen School District in Vancouver, years ago. I observed her true dedication to the parents and children. I shall always treasure her great smile, humor, laughter, and warmth. Heaven has gained a true 'angel'. Sending sympathy to all her family.
Sincerely, Jeanne Englund, OTR/L

My deepest of sympathy goes out to Karen and Casey and their families. I have so many memories of the times we spent together during Special Olympics as Karen's coach, Kristin was always there as a chaperone and even did the famous flashlight dance at Fort Lewis. She opened her home to all, and I shall never forget her laugh and awesome sense of humor. The world lost a true friend but God received an incredible advocate..

Thanks for the memories my friend..

Nancy Dietrich

I am so sorry to hear of Kristin's passing. We had many good times when Karen and my son Wade were children. My deepest sympathy to Karen and Casey. Kristin made the world a much nicer place - she will be missed. Linda Campbell

I met Kristin in the early 90's when I started my work as a Parent Advocate. We worked hard together and attended many many meetings but the thing I will remember most about Kristin is she made me laugh - out loud - all the time! She was dedicated, knowledgable hard working, funny, sarcastic and had a heart of gold. I was so sad to hear of her passing. She made a difference in my life as I am sure she did for individuals and families too numerous to count. She will truly be missed.

I am so sorry to hear about Kristin's death. She worked hard all of her life and was looking forward to a retirement spent with her daughters and the grandchildren. I've know Kristin since 1978 and have followed her career and interests in special education as parent, advocate, teacher and administrator. She was constantly an enthusiastic participant in life and career. She supported me when I was down with words of encouragement. I will always remember Kristin as a major influence in my...

I met Kristin at Club Oxford back in the mid 80's. We walked every morning solving the world and family problems. She was devoted to her family and career. I know she will be sorely missed.
