Kurt Orr Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 21, 2017.
Kurt Orr passed away on May 20, 2017. He was born in Danville, IN to Dick and Carolyn Orr. Kurt is survived by his mother and stepfather: Carolyn and Norman Haus, one brother: Rex (Carla) Orr, three daughters: Kristina Orr, Ashli (Andrew) Caldwell, and Alikzandra Orr, one granddaughter: KayDeigh Orr and one nephew: Garrett Orr. Kurt loved to be with his daughters, granddaughter, and family just eating out, visiting, shopping, and cook outs. His eyes shone bright when KayDeigh would visit him shouting papaw Kurt and giving him hugs and kisses. He was an avid New England Patriots fan. Kurt worked as a D.J. for karaoke and enjoyed meeting new friends. He worked as a press operator at a paper company, delivered newspapers, drove a school bus and other jobs as well. He was a graduate of Ben Davis High School. He tried his best to help any one that he could. All of us will truly miss him, but we will rejoice when we reunite with him in God's Glorious Heaven.
Visitation will be held Wednesday May 24th from 4:00-8:00 pm at Family Funeral Care 5791 Rockville Road Indianapolis, IN 46224. Funeral Services will be held Thursday May 25th at 1:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Westridge Cemetery in Indianapolis.

You have always been someone special in my life since the day we met. You kept me laughing and on my toes. You never stopped telling me that I was beautiful. You promised too be waiting on me in Heaven, and you have always been a man of your word. Until I arrive, I know that you will be singing and playing everyone's song in heaven. Until I see you again, know that I love you.
