Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home - Evendale/Blue Ash Obituary

Paul “Kyle” Swanson, 28, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2022 in Chicago, IL. He was born September 6, 1993 in Cincinnati, OH to Paul and Rosemarie Swanson.

Kyle was a 2012 graduate of St. Xavier High School (Cincinnati) and in 2016, he graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance. He went on to obtain a Master of Science in Accounting from the Kelley School of Business, and upon graduation, passed the CPA exam. He was dedicated to his work in public accounting.

Friends and family meant everything to Kyle. He cherished the relationships he had with his Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity brothers and St. Xavier classmates. He never met a stranger, and those that knew him were drawn to his witty sense of humor and genuine interest in others. He lived his life with excitement and optimism – especially for sports. Competitive swimming was a huge part of Kyle’s childhood, and the discipline and drive he developed in the pool laid the foundation for his future success. When he wasn’t cheering for the Bengals, Reds, or Hoosiers, you could find him binge-watching The Office, laughing at Barstool Sports, or enjoying a cold drink while listening to a Jimmy Buffett song.

Those left to cherish Kyle’s memory include his loving parents, Paul and Rosemarie Swanson (née Rosiello); brother, Jason (Anne) Swanson; niece, Rylie Swanson; paternal grandparents, Sharon Swanson (née Shira), and Paul (Beverly) Swanson; aunts and uncles, Nancy (Rex) Riggs, Frank Rosiello, and Patricia (Kenneth) Harrison; and cousins Amelia (Tyler) Noel and Kelsey Harrison. He was preceded in passing by maternal grandparents Frank and Marjorie Jean Rosiello; beloved uncle, Robert (Janice) Swanson, and aunt, Terry Rosiello.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Kyle’s life on Friday, March 11, 2022 during visitation hours from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 12:00 pm at the Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 10211 Plainfield Rd. Blue Ash, OH 45241.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial gifts in memory of Kyle be made to Canine Companions for Independence https://canine.org/ or the Reds Community Fund https://www.mlb.com/reds/community.

My heart breaks with this news. May all the beautiful memories bring you comfort and strength.

Cluster of 50 Trees

I was good friends with Kyle in elementary school, but unfortunately lost touch as we got older. He was always one of the nicest guys and was one of my best friends at Mercer. I remember specifically always wanting to sit next to him and Caroline in fifth grade and getting in trouble because we were always goofing off and having fun. Life is too short and I wish we would have kept in touch throughout the years. Thinking of his family and friends during this time, as well as all of our old...

Kyle was a kind and fun person who I have many fond memories of. I am glad I got to know him during our time at IU Phi Psi. He was genuine and generous and will be missed.
