Not sure what to say?

Lad was one of the most inspirational, positive people I ever knew. As a fellow Moore employee, I always admired his strength and smile through many challenges. God Bless Him.

Dear Kay,I am so sorry for your family's loss. I hope you remember me.From our childhood our parents were friends and I have always remembered you. I am jeanie Campbell Dorgan and my parents were Howard and Naomi Campbell.I do remember your parents. It looks like you had a wonderful life with Lad and for that I am so happy.I don't know what happened with your son..I lost a grandson with bone cancer and those and such horrible times..I am facebook if you want to talk..loving thoughts of you.

Kay I was looking for another otituary and saw Lad's. I am so sorry for you and your family. I enjoyed Lad's books and my correspondence with him a few years back. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Susan Galik

Kay, Ruffin and family,
We are sadden to loose our dear friend but know he is at peace. Our wonderful memories will never be forgotten. Love you, God bless.

What a brilliant, creative mind we just lost. I was my pleasure to know Lad if only from a distance. His intellect and creative gifts will be only a small portion of his legacy. Prayers and good thoughts will follow Mary Kay from now on.
