I cannot believe that it has been almost a year since you left us. I know that God sent you here for a reason and apparently had his reasons to take you back-so all I can say at this point is that I thank Him for letting us borrow you for almost 43 years. Lance was a truly kind person. My prayers are with his family.

Lance was truly one of a kind. From the time he was in grade school and joined the safety patrol, to the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Order of the Arrow, The Navy, and finally as a Peace Officer, he always enjoyed living his life by helping others. Carrie, I don't even have the words to describe my sadness over Lance's passing. He was truly a blessing to all who knew him. You, Will, and Caroline have been in my prayers daily.
