Larry was born on March 23, 1943 and passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2016. Larry was a resident of Evansville, Indiana at the time of his passing. Larry was a decorated high school and collegiate athlete. graduation from Bosse. He was married to Judy. Visitation for Larry will be held from 3pm until 6 pm Friday August 5 2016 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Larry's name may be made to the American Cancer Society 6301 Old Boonville Hwy. Evansville IN 47715.

Mr. Denton was one of my favorite teachers at Bosse High School in the 90's. He always made us laugh, made learning interesting & kept a smile on his face! My prayers to his family. Awesome man!

He was a teacher of mine in 1980 to 82.Always a very nice teacher and human being.

Mr.Denton was my homeroom teacher at Bosse. He was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor. I have very fond memories of him. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends. Molly Robb Class of '86

This is so hard to swallow. MY LARRY.... my friend. Becoming his friend was a blessing and I enjoyed spending Monday, Wednesday and Fridays with him. You will be missed and forever in my heart. Larry was a teammate and UE friend. He was soft spoken, but a loyal, hardworking student-athlete, a trait he carried into his professional life.

Larry was a regular Sunday McDonald's customer. He pretty well had him spoiled. He always so nice to my crew and myself. He will definitely be missed. He always had a smile even when you could tell he didn't feel like it. Rest in Peace Larry. You are now worry and pain free
