Larry Guillot Obituary

Larry J. Guillot, 73, of Nederland, Texas passed away Wednesday, March 06, 2013 in Port Arthur, Texas. Larry was born January 7, 1940 in Port Acres, Texas to Levest and Lena Guillot. Larry worked at Gulf Oil Refinery and retired from Chevron in 1992. Mr. Guillot is preceded in death by his parents, Levest J. Guillot and Lena Haydell Guillot; brother, Harold Guillot; sisters, Janet Short and Gloria Guillot. He is survived by his loving wife, Anne Guillot; daughter Kelly Lanclos and husband Keith of Nederland; son, Mark Guillot and wife Michele of Tucson, Arizona; sister, Marian Jones of Houston. Grandchildren include Lindsey Wright and husband William, Stephanie Barron and husband Judd, Ian Guillot, Brynn Guillot, Ryan Guillot and great-grandchildren, Hunter Barron, Jase Barron, Ella Wright and many nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, March 8, 2013 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 6 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 10 a.m., at St. Charles Catholic Church, with Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, officiated by Rev. David Placette. Your Dad always had fun whenerver your friends would "Fork" your yard. Your Dad would just watch the girls having fun. He thought it was so funny to watch them. He told me he thought it was the funniest thing to watch the girls giggle and fork the yard so carefully.
