I would like to express my sincere sympathy for the loss of your dear family member. I didn't know Mr. Long, but I do know the pain of losing a parent in death. I draw comfort from the Bible and the hope that is set before us where we're told that "Our Heavenly Father will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". I hope your family finds comfort from this text.
