Not sure what to say?

Rip Uncle Lar. you made my teen and 20 years great. I couldn't wait to hear you every day. We used to cruise a shopping center and everyone had there radios turned up loud and listening to you. It was absolutely the best time of my life. Thank you always. Goodbye old friend. I'll see you at that radio station in the sky one day.

You were quite simply the best there ever was at what you did, and an important part of my growing up in Chi town. Peace my brother.

I'll miss you everyday. I have some cassettes of your shows, so your voice won''t be totally silent for me. Thanks for my crazy nickname when our group would cut class and visit WCFL and WLS..I will treasure it. Say hi to .Joel, Barney, Spacey Dave...

Donna, Chicago

We remember Larry Lujack as a Classmate in the Caldwell High School Class of 1957 in Caldwell, Idaho. He was a good athlete, a friend and a character even at 16. We send our sympathy to his family for their loss.

Having grown up in Cleveland and Buffalo, I'd never heard of Larry Lujack until I bought his autobiography in December of 1976, but I've since seen him on YouTube and heard him on REELRADIO. I was sorry to read in the Buffalo News that he passed away the week before Christmas.

Andrea, Buffalo NY

I am very sorry for your loss. During this time turning to God an his word the Bible can bring much comfort. Act 24:15 shows that your love one has the hope to live again. I offer my condolences during this sad time.

I would religiously listen to Larry and his morning show on WLS back when I was growing up in the Chicago area. Started my morning! So sorry to learn he passed away. Prayers for his family....

Our sympathies to you. It was obvious he loved you dearly. May he rest in peace with the Lord.
