Not sure what to say?

Betty,

we are so sorry for your loss. We only knew Larry for a short while, however in that short time as a new neighbour he welcomed us, and was always willing to offer sound advice. He was a wonderful man.
Please accept our heartfelt sympathy.
Love Peggy and Jim

Mrs. Riggs, Scott, and Steve - I am so sorry for your loss, and I extend my sympathy to all of you.
Wendy Ralph Blausey (NSA class of 1989)

Bettty, Scott, and Steve,

Jen and I just learned of the loss of Larry and we are deeply saddened. You all know what a great influence he has been on my life. I will be forever grateful for the opportunity to work with Larry and for all he taught me – I could not have been more fortunate to begin a career with such a Giant of the Game.

I hope that all of the goodness that Larry and all of you have extended to countless people will come back to you in this time of loss....

Memories of "Uncle Larry" and my NSA basketball days have always made me smile. I was heartbroken when I learned of his illness and so sorry to hear he passed away. He played a part in shaping so many lives, including my own, and for that I am grateful. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

Betty, Scott, and Steve
I was saddened to hear of Larry's passing. I thought so much of him. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. I will be in touch with you.
Love,
Jim Sherrard

Mrs. Riggs, Steve and Scott - I am so unbelievably sorry for your loss. He was a such a dedicated coach and wonderful man. I know he will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

To the family of Larry Riggs, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of a good friend and fierce rival. Larry and I had so many great battles on the basketball court as our two teams played so hard for both of us. I have thought about Larry many times over the years and remember him fondly. May you have peace and lasting good memories, Joanne Renn ( former girl's coach, Norfolk Academy)

Betty, Scott, Steve and families,
Mr. Riggs will be missed but not forgotten. He was an amazing coach and mentor. We laughed, we cried, and we sweated. There were certainly times where I did not like him (I never stopped loving him of course), but those are the times that allowed me to grow into the adult I am today. There are so many fond memories that we have been sharing, I am so sorry I can not attend his service tomorrow. I will be there in mind and heart.
Love
Cheri...

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome...
