Guest Book

Not sure what to say?

I recently reconnected with Tony, and Tonkins, and in doing so learned that Mr.Anderson had passed away. He asked me to call him Larry, when I was in high school with Tony and Tonkins, but he deserved the respect of calling him Mr. Anderson. He was like another father to me. He always took the time to speak to me and listen to me, even when his sons were not home. We often listened to Grover Washington, or Lonnie Liston-Smith for hours. He is responsible for my love of contemporary jazz. Many...

I am a Member Advisor at the Capitol Branch of Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union. Larry was a regular here. I noticed around Christmas that he hadn't been in in awhile, but due to the time of the year and how busy it was it slipped my mind. Then the holidays came and went and finally today I thought of him again and wondered why he hadn't visited us in so long. When I found out that he passed, myself and my coworkers were truly saddened. He was a wonderful man, a wonderful spirit. Kind...

This guest book truly seems to capture the amazing impact Larry had on others. I was sad to read of Larry's death. From my conversations I shared with Larry--years ago--I remember the love and care he expressed for his family. My prayers are with his family and friends.

Sending blessings of peace to Larry's family. He will be remembered in our family.

To Mary Lee and family of Larry, my deepest sympathy and condolences to you. I was shocked to hear of Larry's passing he was kind spirit and I'm thankful to have known him, I pray for your strength and know he is resting in peace. God Bless

I AM NOT THERE

Do not stand by my grave and weep,

I am not there. I do not sleep.

I am in a thousand winds that blow,

I am the softly falling snow.

I am the gentle shower of rain,

I am the field of ripening grain,

I am in the morning hush.

I am in the graceful rush

Of beautiful birds in circling flight.

I am the star shine of the night,

I am in the flowers that bloom.

My father Ross worked with Mr. Anderson at MNSCU. Seeing his face while going to work with my dad was always a highlight of my day. He would always be willing to share advice ranging from studying hard and enjoying school, to girl problems and relationships. His advice will always be in my mind and I couldn't thank him enough for that.

To Mary and the entire family...we are so saddened to learn of Larry's passing. We pray that God's love and peace will comfort you during this difficult time. We also pray that those who surround you will continue to give comforting words and gently guide you to opportunities to cherish your family and to celebrate Larry's life through all of you ... his legacy. God bless

I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences to Mary and the entire family. During this time of sadness may the fond memories of Larry comfort and console all of those who loved him.
