Not sure what to say?

As Sandra wrote in her email to me when she let me know that Lawanda had passed away, "she can now be with the one she loves". That made me smile a bit thinking that Lawanda and Dad will now be together. Forever. Just like they wanted.
Carolyn O'Donnell

When I was growing up, I visited my Grandfather and Lawanda many times in Hermosa Beach, Kauai and Arizona. I have the fondest memories of Lawanda being loving and generous to me. She will always be in our hearts and I will cherish my memories of her.

Lawanda was a dear person to me - We were related through marriage and I always was in awe of her - I used to babysit Sandy when she was 6 months old on most Saturdays while she and her sister Lois would go out shopping together dressed to the nines in great style - i will never forget how we would chat together and how kind she was - a very classy lady - I will never forget her.

My darling sweet sister, I will miss the fun times we had all thru our time together. I'm sure God has something that he needed you to do and that is why he called you to come home. May you rest in peace and know that I will love you forever and ever. Your loving sister, Lois

Oh my, what to say. I have know Lawanda for so long and always thought she was a fun and classy lady. So much so, I set her and Tom up and they were a match made in heaven. She will be missed and my love goes out to her family.

I was so fortunate to have a mother who was able to stay at home and take such good care of my brother, sister and me. She introduced the family to all types of culinary delights. No one at grade school had ever heard of scallops! Mom also was a great seamstress--made most of our clothes. She was very patient, kind, loving, caring. She never spanked us once even though we may have deserved it on more occasions than I would like to admit. I will miss her chuckles and her saying she loved me....

May you find comfort.
