L.B. Mosley Jr. of Rockford, Illinois departed this earthly life April 27, 2021. He was born February 5, 1956 in Chidester, Arkansas the son of L. B. Sr. and Louise Laster Mosley. L.B. lived in Rockford 42 years, coming from Chidester. L.B. was last employed as a material handler by Rockford Products. He was a entrepreneur with a passion for detailing cars. He was a member of Faith Walkers Assembly. L.B. was a former member of the Elks Lodge. He graduated from Chidester High School, he attended Henderson State University of Arkadelphia. He married Betty Nevitt the love of his life. L. B. and Betty’s home was always open to family and friends, even strangers making them feel welcomed. He leaves to cherish many loving memories. L. B. Was proceeded in death by his mother Louise Laster, Mosley, Ingram And fathers: Willis Ingram and L. B. Mosley Sr., three brothers; Leon, Roy Jr and James. One sister; Bertha Mae. His life memories will live on through his wife, Betty; daughter, Shakeia Mosley; son, Deonta Burnell; three step children, Angela ( Stanford ) Galbreath, Antonio ( Megan ) Nevitt and Michael ( Tamica ) Douglas; 12 grandchildren; five sisters; Georgia Lambert, Mary Gulley, Catherine ( Hebert ) Fort, Shelia Mosley and Margaret Mosley. 3 Aunts; Bertha Arberry, Gloria Haynie, Juanita Williams; 4 Uncles; Elder Eddie ( Malissa ) Laster, Arizona; Bruce Laster, Montana; Steve Laster, Illinois; Gerald ( Linda ) Donahue, California. Special friends Howard Parham, Tyrone Singleton, Darion Holloway ( Popeye ). Special cousins George ( Pete ) Moss And Janice Bell of Arkansas

Moving visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Greater Harvest Church.  Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery.  Private family services will be held at 11:00 am.
