Lea was such a special person. When my husband, Jeff Berger, passed away, I was encouraged to create a foundation in his memory. I had no idea how to do this, but Lea offered to help. I could not have done this without her. She was so selfless, competent, caring. giving and encouraging and fun! She gave me so much, asking for nothing in return. Dear Bramnick family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I had the greatest pleasure meeting your mom/grandmom when she was at Scheie. In 2015 I began supporting Scheie with their annual alumni receptions during AAO and their annual dinner. We started out as colleagues and quickly became friends.
