Not sure what to say?

I am so sad about your mother's passing. We worked at Franklin School and later became good friends. Over the years we shared good times going to lunch, shopping and visiting the casino. Your parents joined us one year for Thanksgiving dinner. We laughed, shared family recipes and just had a good time. I will cherish my memories.

My sincere sympathy to Jim and family. We were classmates at Roosevelt and Davis High School. I am sorry for your loss. I was not privileged to work for your mother but knew of her as a highly admired and respected member of the educational community. May you find comfort in knowing she leaves an amazing legacy. To Mrs. Shively: You were my 7th grade English teacher at La Loma. I want to thank you for believing in me and recommending me to be placed into a higher student academic level at that time. My essay and name won the contest. I'm heartbroken to learn of her passing. She had stayed in touch with me periodically throughout the years. My...

Fondly remembered as one of my teachers at La Loma Jr High School, 1967-68. I recall her class was in one of the Quonset huts on the east side of campus. Still working on my English Mrs. Shively!

So sorry for your families loss!! So true, all that knew her loved her!!
