To the Drezek Family,

It has been years since I have had the pleasure of being with Leon - too many years. As a fellow '69 classmate at Watkinson, I have many thoughts and mental pictures running through my head about Leon: my fellow bench warmer for multiple years on JV and Varsity Bball; Leon in his baseball uniform - one of the school's stars; our senior picture together at the Lutheran church down from Watkinson; Leon singing "Mustang Sally" - the best rendition I ever heard;...

Dear Drezek Family, At the beginning of my Watkinson years, a place full of people with names like "Colonel" and "Sir" and weird customs like wearing ties to school, Leon stopped a couple of us newbies for a moment and told us a very witty, slightly off colour story. I wish I could remember the content, but I surely remember the moment some 40 years later, when an upper classman took time to make a couple of no account under classmen feel a bit less scared. Laughter came a little easier...

Dear Drezek Family,

It was a pleasure to have known Leon, I served on the PERA board and enjoyed my time with him. God Bless you.

Marcy: Although it's been over 42 years since I've seen Leon, I will always remember him as one of my most sincere and fun-loving high school classmates. Please accept my sincere condolences. My thoughts and prayers go out to you, the rest of your family, and all the great personal and professional friends Leon made through the years. Cobb Reed (Watkinson Class of '69)

Leon, I feel blessed to have known my LE brethren. I will miss our always entertaining chats about anything and everything. Only getting to know you this past year, but feeling like I knew you a lifetime. We miss you around here, it's far too quiet--God Bless you Leon and your family. Your pals at DHS.

Leon's laughter can still be heard...He touched my Dad's life in so many ways and Leon will never be forgotton.

Marcy: We want to express our sincere condolences on Lee;s death. Our prayers and thoughts to you and the family, Peace Vic and Joan ( Spokane, WA.)

Leon, rest in the Lord, and know that you were loved by many. I am delighted to donate to a shelter; I love adopted animals myself.
