Leon W. Schmidt

Leon W. Schmidt, 77, a 42-year resident of Vallejo, California, a veteran of World War II who served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951-1973, and a Teacher for 10 years with the Vallejo City Unified School District, passed away at a local hospital on Sunday, June 11, 2000, following a long illness. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, June 15, 2000, 6-8 p.m., at Skyview Funeral Chapel, 200 Rollingwood Drive, Vallejo. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, June 16, 11 a.m., at Kyles Temple A.M.E. Zion Church, 2813 Sonoma Boulevard, Vallejo, officiated by Reverend John Watts. Burial will be at Skyview Memorial Lawn, Vallejo.
