Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home - Henderson Obituary

            Leona Tapp, 96, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away at 7:45 a.m. Saturday, August 7, 2021.

            She was a member of Community Baptist Church.

            She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Elbert Tapp, who died February 16, 2013.

            Survivors include one daughter, Lisa Tapp-Fryer and her husband, William, of Henderson, Kentucky; and nieces and nephews.

            Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  Dr. Tim Hobbs will officiate.  Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.

            Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

            Contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice or Community Baptist Church.

            Pallbearers will be P.E. Chandler, Brandon Chandler, Paul Austin, Tommy Tapp, Brad Hazelwood, and Melissa Bebout.
