Not sure what to say?

Just heard of his passing now. We used to shop at his original store 58th & Mitchell. We lived at 58th & Lapham. My father went fishing with him often. He loved showing his pigeons off. The coup was above the store's garage on 58th st. Very popular and well liked guy. Glad to hear he had such a rewarding and long life. He deserved it. God bless.

-My parents (Merle and Judy Richardson) would really like to talk to Patricia Gigowski. If you could please call them, they would appreciate it. Please call at 715-479-5244. Thank you.

Uncle Leonard was a noble, kind, gentle, and caring human being.I will always be gratful for our times together and for his help and guidance throughout the years.

Leonard was the most gentle soul. When we danced, he always made me smile. He will be missed.

A kind gentleman, a proud veteran, a wonderful dancer. Keep on dancing!

I loved it when Leonard wore his Navy uniform to various dances, especially for Memorial Day. We were blessed that he shared his life with us. What a great dance lead! Even for us 6' ladies! Thank you, Leonard, for the smiles.

Leonard ballroom dancing

I have danced with Leonard for 20 years. Last year at a swing dance, we were really getting into the dance, much to the delight of the band. They remarked what a good dancer he was. Lenny told them he was 90 & a WW II vet. Everyone stopped & clapped.

I will miss his smile and sense of humor. Love you, Uncle Leonard
