He was one of my heroes. Lenny was a terrific roll model for me. He always told me to follow my dreams and go for it. The
2 mentors in my life was my Dad and Lenny. He was honest, good and very smart. I will really miss him!!

I met Len in 1985. I was a dental student. He was lecturing in San Francisco. He invited me to his office later that year and I went. We remained close friends for years. He always sent me his latest books. I last saw him in Carefree AZ. It was fun to surprise him. I think he was 89 at the time and still had such fire in his lecture! I loved this man and miss him dearly.

Len was one of the finest men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was a True Mensch, a Caring Professional, and a Friend. Although lost touch since we moved from NYC to PA, he has been in our hearts since we met him. He made us SMILE, first with loads of pain, but his caring and friendship made it all worthwhile. He did his dental implant magic for my wife Jeanie and my entire mouth for me. Through the years that have passed utilizing other dentists, we always have compared them to Len, and sad to say none have ever measured up. He gave me a couple of his books and signed them as me being one of his worst patients and yet good friend. Cecilla a wonderful companion and spouse was a great addition to making our lives richer. I pray that G-d will let Len rest in peace and shelter him like Len did for me. G-d Bless you Len you made us all SMILE figuratively & literally. Paul, Jason & Jeanie K.

I just learned of his passing, he was truly one of the finest men I have ever met. He did my entire mouth and told me many times that I would always be in his memory as a patient he wouldn't want again. He was always kidding around with me. I was saddened when he decided to retire. My wife and I will have Cecilia and his family in our prayers. Not only do I have a great smile due to him but am a better person for knowing him. Jason King

You were my academic and personal inspiration and I really loved you my friend. From Colombia my deepest condolences to his family, I would have loved to be with you in January.

Between 1982 and 1985 I was one of Dr.Linkow's technician and I know first hand the sweet and tears of running a successful dental practice limited to implant dentistry.
While around the world dentist and researcher where working to figure out the basic since behind the implant dentistry Dr. Linkow had already written the book on theory and practice of implant dentistry and telling patients that Life can be wonderful again with dental implants It will take his expertize and willingness to share his skill and knowledge to make what is today the dental implant industry a 4.4 billion dollars world market still growing...
1985 I was accepted to study dentistry at university of Pennsylvania and with his well-known generosity and support he gave my one of his book with the following dedication:
With all of my hopes and prayers for your climbing that tough road to the top and then staying there. Remember when you are on top you are alone, you'll have to learn to live with it
Dr. Linkow open for me a world of possibilities and he will always live in my mind and my heart. My condolences to his family.

I met Leonard in Israel in 1967 when I was in a post graduate program at the Hebrew University School of dentistry. He introduced us to this new and unknown discipline which because of people like himself became the future of dentistry.Iam eternally grateful to him for helping me shape my career. I would see him over the years, and alsways enjoyed listening to his many stories, and spending time with him... a real mensch..... and his reason for persuing this type of dentistry was because he watched his beloved mother, Rose, struggle with dentures. We will miss you.
