Roy was my boss for about 15 of the 18 years that I served at Houston Instrument, and he was a powerful leader that I and other employees respected and admired. He was also my friend who I thought of as a perfect example what America's finest generation was all about.

My sincere condolences go to Roberta, Jay, Lee, Roger and all of the Bower family members.

Roberta and family,
I was saddened to hear of Roy's passing. It was always a treat for me to have our special visits when you both were in England. I was honoured to have him as a Godfather.
Much love,
Cathy Owen and family

Roberta and sons,
I was saddened at the news of Roy's passing last Friday.
Ours was a budding friendship with many aspects yet to come. We were first drawn together by our mutual love of airplanes, especially the P-38 and P-51 that Roy flew in WW-II.
I can think of many conversations which were yet to come that are now silenced.
It was an honor and a joy to have known Roy and my memory of him lives on.
