Not sure what to say?

I have know Leroy for several years by being in his home as a caregiver to his wife. The day I met Leroy I thought his was a gruff man, but learned real quick he was a big teddy bear.He was a great man and I do and always will miss him, he was a true blessing to have in my life.

I had the pleasure of co-writing songs with Leroy, but more importantly, I had the honor of being his friend. He was one of the most honest, caring, & gentle persons I have ever known, and I will miss our friendship. All my thoughts & prayers are with the family.

My father is at peace now with the loved ones that that passed on before him. He is nolonger in his silent pain he has endured for the past 25 years.
I love and miss you.

Leroy was my baby brother. He was the last of my 7brothers to pass away. I will miss him very much, his phone calls, letters, songs, and his big bear hugs, I will love you forever Little Brother. Deepest sympathy to all of your family. Luella Salaz (Hamtramck, MI)

I never met Leroy but his music has touched my life for many years. May he rest in peace. His long time friend, Pete Goble, told me about Leroy's passing. Please accept my deepest sympathy and be assured he will be in my prayers.

Leroy was a true friend of mine and I cherish the memories of the times I spent with him. He taught me so much about writing songs, about music, but most importantly about life. I will miss him. My thoughts are with the family.
