My heart truly goes out to family and friends for Leroy was taken from your world way too soon. Praying that your memories will give you comfort and know that so many even from afar, care.

I just want to say that his friends are welcome at the burial, and in a year we will have a memorial for him, and I will make sure word gets out about when and where. Thank you for caring about Leroy.

I remember Leroy as a child when he accompanied his mother at UC San Diego. He was a beautiful young child and man who supported his mother. His mother kept a warm and close eye on him. I wanted to share my condolences and sympathies to all who care and knew/know Angie and family. My heart will always have a memory of you all.

Leroy was such a beautiful soul. I got to know him as a high school student when he attended Bridge of the Gods Summer Academy and later through many evenings at the Many Nations Longhouse with his mom, Angie, and his cousin, Lofanitani. He was sharp as a tack, smart as whip, with a wry wit and a deadpan sense of humor that I appreciated so much. His smile lit up a room. Journey well, Leroy. You will be missed in this life young man, but welcomed gladly by your loved ones in the next.
