Les: Sorry for your loss. I lost my Mom about 4 yrs ago..and it is tough. ..but you just have to go on. My thoughts are with you. George Huebner

I never met Les but have the greatest admiration for him as a baseball player and WWII veteran, so I have compiled a biography which now appears on my Baseball in Wartime Blog: http://baseballinwartime.blogspot.com/2009/10/remembering-les-palmer.html

I remember Les from his scouting days with the Angels.

It was always a pleasure to run across him from time to time on our scouting trips. He was a pleasure to be in his company, a true gentleman and a credit to his profession.
