My dying is probably a good thing. I think it has done some things for me and some friends that I would never have been able to do on my own. First, I believe I have probably the most wonderful family that any man could ever have. I am so thankful for all they gave me. They gave me every ounce of...

Sending our condolences to you all. We are just finding out about this as I speak. We had such a Awesome visit with him a couple of years ago when he came thru Las Vegas. I can say one that he never forgot. We had a Group HUG and said prayers.
Being of the generation that Leslie Elden is they attempted to keep me in the chain letter that they used to write But being the only one that was younger I had to stop so that is...

Grandpa Les....that's what you quickly became to me and my children. We are so happy to have had the chance to meet you and have you in our lives! You will forever be remembered and missed! Forever Loved!

I had the privilege and honor of knowing Les for 52 years. We met in Seattle where I was working during the summer of 1964 and attending the University of Washington. Les was the Plant Superintendent at the time, my "boss" and my mentor and had a very positive and lasting effect on my career path. Les exemplified all the qualities one one looks for in a person and true friend; honesty, integrity and selflessness. Although we ended up on opposite coasts of the country we still found time to...

Although we have only known you for a few years through dancing, we feel like we have know you for a long time. Paul was so happy to get your phone calls and enjoyed talking to you. You were such a gentleman and such a caring person. You told Paul that you would try to help him with his vision problem after you went to the Lord. He did notice an improvement a few days after you passed. Thank you so much, Les, we miss you and will never forget you.

Les, many thanks for being an employer of my son Paul. He learned a lot about lawn care and gardens, but mostly he learned about a very kind and wonderful man. You were the grandpa that Paul missed as his grandpas died early in his life. I hope you and Barb are celebrating,

Les, Thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family. Your dad must have been a remarkable man. Quite the testimony from Dr. Liu! May he live in your hearts forever. God bless, Vicki

Patrick, Kelly and family,
So sorry to read of your loss. Sending our thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
Fondly,
Joe and Jill Gagne

To receive a hug from this fine man was to experience pure joy. I'm grateful for having met him at the dances hosted by my parents, as well as being able to visit him for a few moments at the hospital as he began his final journey. His love of his family was deep and pure, and his pride for all of them shined through his eyes. I will hold dear, watching him listen to his granddaughter as she read to him, sitting by his bedside, a piece she wrote - it was magical. I will treasure his stories...
