In 1969,I owned Interstate Auto Mart in Roanoke. We specialized in really beautiful cars.
There was a young man who stopped in real often in his red Oldsmobile, his pride and joy. But it took second place to his Mother, whom he spoke of often.
I still remember "Buck Shot".

Mrs. Hale, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Leslie. He would always make us laugh when he came into the Bank. My sincere sympathy to you and your family. Having loss a son as well, I know so well how losing a child leaves you but know that God is your comforter and HE and only He can see you through times such as now. God Bless you.

Mrs. Hale and family:
I am sorry to hear of your loss. I worked with Les on the railroad until he left. That man had the best sense of humor. He kept me laughing as we traveled and worked. We had lost touch through the years with each other and I'm sad that I didn't to talk to him again before he passed. May the Lord bless you all and ease your pain.

To Liz, my cousin, there are no words to express my sympathy to you and family. We all will miss his jokes, his beautiful smile and his way of making every one happy. May God put his arms around the family and continue to protect you. We know you understand death, but I can't imagine the death of a child. As you know, this time last year we expereinced the death of Mama and Daddy. Love you and I will keep in touch.

Dear Mary G, thank you so much for taking care of my best friend when I couldn't. My prayers and thoughts are with you and Mr. Hale's family. You must understand he did not die, he was just promoted, may God bless you all, and protect you.
