Just now seeing that Lesta passed. I worked with her at Farrell's many decades ago. My wife and were friends with her and Dan. What a beautiful person. She left us too soon. She is missed. Love and prayers to all family and friends. Mark & Jill Murphy

Remembering in prayer and sending my condolences to Lesta's family and friends. Her compassion, courage, commitment and cookies will be greatly missed. I met Lesta in grad school at Ohio State while working as an undergraduate academic adviser. Her decision to join the Peace Corps was brave and inspirational as was her battle with cancer. Independently, but at about the same time, I decided to join the Army so it appears that we both saw federal service as a way to provide a meaningful...

Lesta, is unforgettable. I met her when I came to work for the DOL-OLMS is August 1990. We managed to keep in contact over the years. I will forever remember her as a kind, gentle, and very professional person.
