Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to hear the news about Les. I attended grad school at George Mason with him, and I remember him as an all-around great guy. We served on the student board together and variously commiserated and celebrated. I lost touch with him after graduation but was glad to see that he stayed involved in the dispute resolution world. He will be missed.

My condolences to the Schoene Family. I am a cousin to Lester. I don't know why today I thought of him and decided to Google his name. I was shocked to learn of his passing only a few days ago. It has been many years that I had been in touch with him but he and his sister Mary (Molly as we knew her) was always a part my life growing up - through their parents. Time marches on and unfortunately we grow apart. He will always be in my heart. Rest in piece Cuz.

My sincere condolences to the Schoene family. Les was a gentleman, mentor and passionate advocate for education, social justice and the environment. He made immense contributions to the Burgundy Farm Country Day School and Burgundy Center for Wildlife Studies communities through his patience, wisdom, guidance and vision. We are all immensely grateful for his life.

To my friend: I will forever remember your acts of kindness and always making time to grab a lunch, to talk and to advise. I was hoping to meet up with you to catch up. I'll catch you later.....
