Ann, Peter, and Patti: My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. General Jones was my inspiration and I thought of him as my surrogate father. We spent many years together serving our country and I will miss him deeply. Cindy Amacher, 1SG, USA (Ret)

I wanted to add that he was extremely proud of Peter, Patricia and all the Grandchildren. He always spoke in glowing terms of their accomplishments. And, above all to his Bride your were the greatest strength in his life, and he loved you dearly.

Dear Ann,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We will always remember the good times we had with you and General Jones in Verona, Italy. I am also eternally grateful for the mentoring General Jones gave me as a young officer.

I also remember when he was assigned to BMI and he pulled up in a little MG, and my thoughts were; "who is this guy". General Jones was well respected by all the Cadets and...

I was secretary there and I could tell that he was a gentleman who deserved and received respect. Later, I was working at Rider University when he came to speak to some of the students there. I went into the room and was surprised and thrilled that he interrupted his session to come and speak with me for a few minutes. To his family I extend sincere sympathy on the loss of...
