Not sure what to say?

Mr. Berry was my First Boss. In Ladies Bible Study recently I spoke of how our Lord always puts Someone in the Gap to protect us through our lives. Originally hired as a Filing Clerk from GPHS-Vocational Office Education at 16, then later promoted to Receptionist at 17 years old. My Parents kicked me out that June, 1976 and I was too young (DOB 11/08/76) to get an apartment. Mr. Berry told the Apartment Manager he would take responsibility for me. I didn’t even have a clock. After waking up...

Lindy was one of the kindest men I have ever met. He never failed to stop and say hello and say kind words about my uncle who he played ball with at the Chicago Naval Station after he left TCU.

When I was about 6, my father's business took us to Edmonton. One day (and several to come) a football player was visiting him and he was very nice to 7-year old me. It was the first time I had felt stirrings of romantic crushes...he was my first Big Crush. I am 71 now, and still his name remains in my heart. In my morning meditation, I realized that I should google him. My condolences to all of your who are living with the emptiness of the loss of your obviously dear husband, father,...

I was a member of Bible Study Fellowship BSF
with Lindy for several years. I grew up in Wichita Falls and he kidded me about he and I moving back and starting a BSF there.
He was truely a man of God and my heart goes out to his family.

He was a man of his word, always had great wit and you couldn't help but smile with him. A man I will always remember. Worked with him through BMS and daughter Judy. Lois Matus Frazier, Southlake Tx

He was a really neat guy and wonderful friend. I first saw him play in the greatest football game I ever saw--a 19-19 tie between TCU & SMU when I was in the 9th grade. He & Doak Walker were sensational that day and Doak never ever beat Lindy in the three games they played against each other. He will be missed.

10 May - I am so sorry to have just heard of Lindy's going to be with our Lord. Sorry to not have been able to join the celebration of his life and relationship with God and his family. As a high school friend of his children I became friends with Lindy and Mary as well. They were all a great part of my growth as a young Christian and I continue to be grateful for their positive presence in my life. I pray that the family is strengthened as they remember God's kindness in giving them such a...

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Lindy Berry. I worked with his daughter, Judy, at CMI Advertising many years ago and remember how proud she was of her dad. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. Mari Korkmas Whiteman [email protected]
