Dear Lisa,
I can not believe you are gone a year already. We all miss you so much. Christina always talks about you and the things she remembers that we all did together. We had a lot of good times. Could you believe Christina is in kindergarten already. She loves it which I am so glad. Michael is in pre-school and he also likes it.

Christina stills goes over by your mom and dad. You know Tony is her best friend. She always looks out the window to see where they are...

I never had the chance to meet Lisa but I wanted to present my condolences to the whole Cannava family. I know how hard it is to endure the loss of a loved person but I'm conviced that she is now in a better place. Hope the love you shared with Lisa will sustain you in the worst of time.
May God bless you all,
Mathilde (17 years-old)

Even though I did not know Lisa, I want to express my deepest sympathies to her family and friends. I feel a little strange reading through some of these tributes, but I think, like all of us, I was deeply saddened by 9/11 and wanted to somehow pass on my condolensces to the families that were affected by this horrible event in our history. The deaths of everyone who lost their life on that horrible day truly symbolize "stolen life". I find it particularly sad in regard to the many young...

I have know Lisa for 18 Years. She was not only a Sister in Law to me but a person who I considered a Sister. I have seen her grown up in a wonderful women. Who had alot of love for her familiy. I still can't believe this will almost be a year ago. We had a great time together last summer in Flordia in Disney World. She was so glad that we all went together and had a great time. That is There is not one day that goes by that I don't think of you. I miss talking to you lisa and I hope...

Lisa and I became friends 5 years ago when I moved next door to her mom and dad. Lisa and Richie lived in the apartment at the time. I first meant Lisa's mother and when I meant her all she talked about what a nice daughter she has and Lisa and I would be nice friends for each other. Well her mother was right. Lisa and I became very close. Lisa was a very special person to me and my family. We had alot of fun together. Lisa was so good with my two kids Christina and Michael. My kids...

A Poem for Lisa

Dying Inside
by Natalee Fox

Something so hard
goes straight to the soul;
it seems impossible to get over
and my heart is left with a big hole.

I'm trying to be happy, wearing a smile;
but I'm dying inside.
The world seems to be fading,
and I just want to run and hide.

Everywhere I go I see your face,
and realize how much I miss you;
and on the day you died
a piece of me died...

May God Bless you and the ones that you left behind on 9/11/01. Rest in his loving peace.......

My wife and I moved in next door to Lisa and Richie about 2 years ago. Unfortunately because we all worked we didn't see each other that often. I would see her on the ferry sometimes, or as one of us were either coming or going. Whatever it may be it was enough time to realize that she was a beautiful person and to leave a void in our lives now that she is gone.

Lisa I know you are safe now, I will miss you very much. Our boat rides home, your innocence. You always made us all laugh, things will never be the same for us. We love you very much and hope you are watching over us. Goodbye my friend.
